On April 12 we went to Epcot Center. My friend and co-worker Jenna joined us.

In advance of our Disney trips, Blake measured Ben to see if he could go on “big kid” rides. He was about 39″, about an inch short to go on most rides – and he’s only 2!

Making tin foil “robots”

I found this website with 30+ Craft Activities for Toddler Boys. Ben and I tried Tin Foil Monsters (or Robots):

Making chocolate

He is to the make-believe phase and it’s so cute! He’s carrying around a plastic ice cream cone and stirring the “chocolate” with a foam spoon. Occasionally he asks us to try it or taste it. Very imaginary yummy!

Playing at North Lake park

At the North Lake park in Umatilla. The toddler area had play areas shaped like trucks and tractors for the kids to climb on. He made friends with this little girl who later invited him to play pirates. He was made the captain but didn’t know what was going on so he left.

Edible play dough

We made edible play dough – Ben’s never played with play dough and we weren’t sure he wouldn’t eat it. Yes, store-bought playdough is non-toxic but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to eat. So using this edible playdough recipe, we had some fun:
