I think Ben has a little OCD, or it’s just part of his development… he goes into his room, picks up two matching things, and brings them out… like two 6s, or two Weebles. He’s also matches colors.
Blake’s a little OCD so it may be hereditary. 🙂

Ben can pop the top off a water bottle and drink. Now not to brag, but those are some motor skills right there.
I’m outside sweeping the back patio. Ben’s outside with me. All of a sudden he walks up to the adirondack chair, climbs up into it, and kicks back:
Ben got a card for Valentine’s Day with a cute dog on the front and he loves “reading” it.
Ben makes some funny faces when eating. If only he were as happy to eat carrots and pasta as he is Doritos and Cheerios…
Ben is very comfortable walking. He often chases us around the house. He gets more and more fun by the day! See for yourself:
Ben had his 1-year check up last week. His stats:
On November 19, we had a 1st birthday/housewarming party at our new house in Tavares. Unfortunately, Ben had just had five shots the day before so he wasn’t in a terrific mood. Friends and family came, brought delicious food, and everyone seemed to have a fun time.
For the birthday cake, Publix provided a free “smash” cake for Ben. It contained a ton of sprinkles. Ben, taking a little of his dad’s OCD, began picking the sprinkles off one by one instead of smashing the cake. We had to show him how to be messy! But once he learned, he was a disaster! I’m still picking up sprinkles off the bathroom floor!
