Lunch at Steak n Shake
Edenton, NC
This past week we traveled to Edenton, North Carolina to visit my grandparents (Ben’s great-grandparents, GGPa and GGMa Shafer) and my dad (Ben’s grandpa Tim). While it was a long drive (13-15 hours each way), we enjoyed the calm, laid-back town of Edenton. GGMa, GGPa, and Grandpa adored Ben, as evidenced by all the affectionate hugging/kissing photos. They said Ben was very well behaved — Â our Ben? Thanks Shafers for the warm welcome and hospitality!

Mother’s Day 2013
For Mother’s Day 2013 (really, the Saturday before), Ben and I went to spend the day with Nanna Brenda. We visited Great-grandparents Moran in Palm, had lunch in Ormond Beach, and then Grandpa Tom watch Ben while mom and I got a pedicure.

Ben’s crinkly tube
Ben enjoyed the crinkly tube at tumbling class so much that we bought him one for at home. Here’s Ben and Blake playing with it:

Ben put his inflated Diego guy in the bed, covered him up, got in the bed on the other side, and covered up – all by himself. Too cute!

Ben reached the height requirements to upgrade to a booster seat – at age 2! I have a feeling he will be one expensive teenager!

Ben went to tumbling class today at the YMCA. He didn’t follow directions at all but he had a lot of fun. He particularly liked going through the tunnels they had set up. We have to get him some now.
