Benjamin joined me for a cup of honey chamomile herbal tea (7/21/14). He loved it and has since become an avid tea drinker!

My first time taking Ben to get his hair cut. He was pretty good and earned a lollipop.

We made “Aggression Cookies” (using this recipe). Because I thought “aggression” was too big a word from Benjamin, we call them “Angry Cookies”. They came out a little sticky so I read it’s better to use cold, not softened butter.

The past two weekends, Benjamin has helped me make chocolate chip pancakes (using this recipe). He helps me add ingredients and mix them. The first time, while I was gathering the wet ingredients and he was stirring the dry ingredients, he ate a huge glob of the dry ingredients — flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar — and immediately cried, “It’s yucky!” He learned his lesson. Benjamin likes to draw on his white board in daddy’s office. The drawings are usually just scribbles but they are now taking form. Behold – the Amazing Me Dancing Bread!
