The past two weekends, Benjamin has helped me make chocolate chip pancakes (using this recipe). He helps me add ingredients and mix them. The first time, while I was gathering the wet ingredients and he was stirring the dry ingredients, he ate a huge glob of the dry ingredients — flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar — and immediately cried, “It’s yucky!” He learned his lesson.
